Are you required to notify all current or future employers if you've been in drug rehab?

If you were in a detoxification program, and complete, you must notify all potential employers? Did you notify your current employer, if you go to a rehabilitation program? I think the laws of any differentiation state, but especially in Illinois or California? If anyone knows a site that told me I would really appreciate it. Only if they ask for the application. Detoxification is something you should not do when you have to say if you've been. From my limited experience of employment in Canada, most jobs do not ask specifically about the history of rehabilitation or substance abuse. They make a light to see if you have a clean criminal record and a screening test, if you're just on drugs. Some jobs to intensive background checks (such as police or the clerk of the police) to ask questions about your past drug use in detail. I think your current employer know if you are in drug rehab, but you have probably more information than you need a sick leave in my employee handbook to its employees to a rehab for drug problems supports .
